A bit more about our special events…

Torah at Midday, meets Thursdays beginning Thursday, January 18 1:30–2:30 pm. Our main resource will be Rabbi Jonathan Sacks’ Judaism’s Life-Changing Ideas: A Weekly Reading of the Jewish Bible. As an introduction to this excellent text, you can view a roughly-two-minute video: https://youtu.be/1UkW-pQYUrI in which the late Chief Rabbi of the UK speaks about this volume in his extensive writings.

You do not need to purchase the book, though you might want to–its lessons are worth reading and rereading. The text of each week’s lesson will be shared online. This class is virtual.
