The High Holidays are a wonderful time for community and connection. We love gathering as a group that includes our members and anyone from the community who wants to join us. For that reason, we do not charge for High Holiday services. Just come, and we’ll check you in.
This is one of the things that sets us apart from other congregations in the area. It is our belief that celebrating the holidays in community is an important aspect of the Jewish tradition, and we do not want cost to be a barrier.
While donations are always welcome, and are greatly appreciated, Rosh Hashana and Yom Kippur services are free and open to the public.
Here is a list of our worship services for all of the high holy days.

Erev Rosh Hashana
This year, Erev Rosh Hashanah begins on Monday, September 22 at 7pm.
Right after the service, please stay for the annual CBT Honey Cake Competition!
Dust off those cookbooks and try out a new (or tried and true) recipe. Please slice your cakes ahead of time, if possible, mark with your name, and drop off in Nickless Hall before that night’s service. All guests are welcome to join us after the service to try all the cakes submitted for judging. Votes will be tallied at the end of the evening and the winner will get a prize as well as bragging rights for the next year.
Rosh Hashana
Please join us for a lunch after services, sponsored by the CBT Board on Tuesday, September 23 at 12:30.

Taschlich
Please join us with the Religious School on Sunday, September 28 at 10:30am for our Taschlich service. A nosh will be provided.
Kol Nidre
Please join us on Kol Nidre Wednesday, October 1 at 7:00pm in person and live streamed.

Yom Kippur
To conclude our High Holidays this year, we plan to once again provide to-go Break the Fast bags after Yom Kippur services. These bags will include hearty snacks, such as bagels, cookies, veggies, and fruit. They will be available for congregants to grab after services before heading home.
