At Congregation B’nai Torah in Westminster, we offer free High Holiday services with no conditions. Cost should never be a barrier to participation in Jewish community and worship.

5 to 6 pm MT
Registration is required. This event is free for members and there is a small cost for guests. All other services listed below are completely free. Learn more.
Erev Rosh Hashanah
Friday, September 11
7 to 8:30 pm, in person and livestreamed.
Erev Rosh Hashanah services are followed by our annual Honey Cake contest. It’s a congregation favorite!
Rosh Hashanah Day
Saturday, September 12
9:30 am to 12:30 pm, in person and livestreamed.
Followed by a community and member luncheon, sponsored by the Congregation B’nai Torah Board. Join us and get to know our congregation!
Kol Nidre
Sunday, September 20th
7 to 9 pm, in person and livestreamed.
Yom Kippur Day
Monday, September 21st
Morning service: 9:30 to 1 pm, in person and livestreamed.
Adult learning: 1 pm, in person only. We will explore the Jewish tradition of public confession during the High Holy Days. This long-observed custom of confessing misdeeds and sins goes back to the days of the temples in Jerusalem. The practice of confession has been reinterpreted and reimagined in many ways throughout our Jewish history. If you’d like to explore how to make this practice more relevant and meaningful to each of us in modern times, please come and join us. We’d love to share some examples and hear your ideas.
Children’s service: 3:15 to 4:15 pm, in person only.
Yizkor memorial service: 4:30 to ~5:30 pm, in person and livestreamed.
Neilah closing service: Begins immediately after Yizkor and goes until 7:00 pm.
Congregation B’nai Torah uses Mishkan Ha’Nefesh as its High Holiday Machzor.
